The welcome reception will be held at the garden-outdoor sculpture gallery of the National Gallery-Alexandros Soutsos Museum and will start at 18:30. The reception is organized for both the participants of the Raman Spectroscopy training school and the RAA2023 conference.
The reception will be accompanied by live music from the ''The Dark Impulse Triο''.
The Dark Impulse Trio is a group that was formed at the end of 2014 by Apostolis Kyriakos on guitar, Thanos Bekas on bass and Spiros Economopoulos on drums. The music of the group has to do with the width spirit of jazz, from blues to be bop and hard bop, modal and Latin jazz and their extensions, intending to the expression through improvisation and communication between the musicians, with respect to the tradition and roots of jazz music and at the same time keeping our eyes open to the modern happenings of the jazz scene. The group has recently released their new album called '' Dark Impulse'' after their first two albums '' A Fake Romance'' (2017) and ''Daily Life'' (2018).
